As part of efforts to improve the Ministry’s Visibility and Information Sharing, the Project Coordinating Unit of MoGCSP in collaboration with the Research, Statistics and Information Management Directorate with funding from the

Ghana-Luxembourg Social Trust (GLST) have organised a two day workshop for some staff of MoGCSP from 13th to 14th January, 2021 in Accra.
The workshop which brought together participants from the Social Protection Directorate, Public Affairs Unit, PPMED, RSIM, amongst others, forms part of measures to improve the content management of the Ministry’s website and Social Media Platforms.
In her remarks, the Director for Research, Statistics and Information Management at MoGCSP Madam Efua Anyanful on behalf of the Chief Director, Dr. Afisah Zakariah thanked the Ghana Luxembourg Social Trust for their immense support. She encouraged participants to actively participate and also pay attention to all presentations in order to be able to disseminate accurate information to the wider publics.
Madam Mavis Larbi, a field officer with the Ghana Luxembourg Social Trust said accurate information sharing is key to improving the visibility of an organization. She stressed that the GLST will invest into building the capacity of staff to produce good content for the Ministry in order to reach the wider publics.
The two day workshop, focused on creating an interactive website and Social Media Platforms through presentations and discussions.
Mr. Amoako Asante Kakra, an MIS specialist, who led the presentations, took participants through topics such as; Update of web content, Management of public comments on social media platforms, Boosting of Social media platforms, and Web management.
