MoGCSP’s ANNUAL REVIEW: REFLECTING ON 2023, STRATEGIZING FOR 2024

The Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection (MoGCSP) convened a two-day Annual Performance Review and Planning meeting.

The primary objective of the gathering was to evaluate the Ministry’s performance throughout 2023 and to strategize and set new objectives for 2024.

Throughout 2023, MoGCSP executed various programs and initiatives in alignment with its mandate to advocate for and safeguard the rights of vulnerable populations while promoting gender equality within the fiscal year.

Recognizing these efforts, the Ministry organized this meeting to review past activities, identify significant challenges, and draw lessons to guide the planning and execution of the 2024 annual work plan.

In her address on behalf of the Chief Director Dr. Afisah Zakariah, Mrs. Florence Ayisi Quartey, Director of the Policy, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Directorate, encouraged active participation from management to identify critical issues that require the Ministry’s attention in the coming years.

She also took the opportunity to commend management for their dedication and hard work during the previous year and emphasized the importance of collaboration to achieve the Ministry’s goals in 2024.

The two-day meeting featured insightful presentations from various Directorates, Secretariats, Councils, and Departments within the Ministry.
