MINISTER ENGAGES MANAGEMENT, INTRODUCES NEW CHIEF DIRECTOR FOR MoGCSP.

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) has held a Management Meeting aimed at reviewing ongoing programmes and formally introducing the newly appointed Chief Director, Dr. Marian Kpakpah.
The meeting, chaired by the Minister, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, brought together Directors/Unit Heads from the various Directorates, Departments, Secretariats, Councils and Units of the Ministry. Each Director presented an overview of their respective mandates, key achievements and ongoing interventions, providing a comprehensive update on the Ministry’s work.
In her opening remarks, the Minister commended Management for their dedication and continuous efforts in advancing the Ministry’s mandate. She noted that their collective commitment has been instrumental in delivering critical social protection interventions across the country.
The Minister further emphasized the need for strengthened collaboration and innovation, stressing that together, the Ministry can effectively contribute to the resetting agenda of H. E. John Dramani Mahama. The Minister also officially introduced Dr. Marian Kpakpah as the new Chief Director, expressing confidence in her leadership and ability to support the Ministry in achieving its objectives.
In her response, Dr. Marian Kpakpah expressed appreciation for the warm reception and pledged to work collaboratively with Management to enhance efficiency and impact. She underscored the importance of teamwork, transparency, and results-driven approaches in advancing the Ministry’s goals, adding that she looks forward to building on the existing progress to deliver improved outcomes for vulnerable populations.
