Ghana SWIMS User Manual 2025

This document, the Social Welfare Information Management System (SWIMS) User Manual (Version 2.0, December 2025), provides comprehensive guidance for social service and child protection professionals in Ghana on how to effectively use the SWIMS platform to manage cases, track services, and generate data for decision-making. Developed by the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection with support from UNICEF and USAID, the manual explains the system’s features, user roles, workflows, and data management processes, enabling frontline workers and managers to record, monitor, and respond to cases of children and individuals in need of care and protection in a standardized, secure, and coordinated manner across national, regional, and district levels.
