EAST LEGON EXECUTIVE FITNESS CLUB DONATES 50,000 GHANA CEDIS AND ITEMS TO THE UNDERPRIVILEGED

The East Legon Executive Fitness Club on Tuesday, 7th April, 2020 donated 50,000 Ghana Cedis and some items through the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection to support the under privileged especially during the restrictions placed in some parts of Accra.
The items includes the following:
– Rice 25 Bags – 10 Bags
-Sugar (50 kg) – 15 Bags
-Oil (25 Litres) – 15 Gallons
-Tin Tomatoes – 5 Cartons
– Nido Milk Powder – 3 Boxes
– Carnation Milk – 6 Cartons
– Geisha Mackerel – 5 Cartons
– This Way Chocolate Drink – 5 Bags
– Water – 75 packs
The team was led by Mr. Martin Osei Brobbey, Chairman for Event at the Fitness Club. He said the Club is so much concerned about the plight of most people all over the World and have therefore decided to support the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection to provide some basic needs of the underprivileged in society.
He said the Fitness Club is also donating an additional 50,000 Ghana Cedis in addition to the items to enable the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection purchase other necessary items that may be needed.
The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison thanked the members of the Fitness Club and assured them of giving the items to the underprivileged persons in the country but most especially Persons with Disability.
