She revealed that the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection (MoGCSP) has a five-year Adolescent Pregnancy Strategy that aims to guarantee that all stakeholders collaborate to avoid adolescent pregnancies while ensuring that girls remain in school to realize their full potential.

“Support our efforts to encourage pregnancy-free education for our young female students in schools.” She said.

She advised the girls to explore ICT with care and seize the opportunities the sector is offering.

Ghana has since been commemorating the Girl-in-ICT day since it was adopted in 2019 but MoCD institutionalized the commemoration in 2019 to provide more girls in Ghana with opportunity to use and be exposed to ICT.
