BANK OF AFRICA – GHANA DONATES ITEMS TO SUPPORT THE VULNERABLE

Bank of Africa-Ghana as part of their Coporate Social Responsibility has donated items through the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection for onward distribution to the vulnerable and the underprivileged.
Donating the items on behalf of the Bank, the Executive Head of Operations and Support Mr. George Otchere said the Bank is poised to improving the well-being of the less privileged in society, hence the need to support the vulnerable during the Corona Virus crisis.
Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison, Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection expressed her profound gratitude on behalf of the Government of Ghana to Bank of Africa-Ghana and urged them not to relent in their efforts in assisting and supporting the poor and the needy.
The items donated includes: 700 bags of rice, 200 gallons of oil, 200 cartons of tin tomatoes and 200 cartons of mackerel.
Present were the Head of Marketing and Coporate Communications, Mr. Eric Kojo Van-Ess Kuranchie, Head of Operations, Mr. Kwame Darfor, Marketing and Coporate Communications Officer, Mr Bright Ampadu Okyere.
Also from the Ministry were the Chief Director, Dr. Afisah Zakariah and the Social Protection Director, Dr. Rita Owusu-Amankwah
