ADEPA FUN CLUB ASSOCIATION- MAKOLA DONATES FOOD ITEMS TO SUPPORT THE VULNERABLE AND SECURITY SERVICES

Members of Adepa Fun Club Association located at Makola in Accra donated some food items, packed foods, bottles of water, sanitizers and liquid detergents to support Government in the fight against the Corona Virus outbreak in the country on Saturday, 4th April, 2020
The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon Cynthia Mamle Morrison commended the Association for their kind gesture especially during the lockdown period.
She also advised them to always tidy up their market places to avoid contracting other dangerous diseases.
Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison pleaded with them to adhere to the directives of the President to help curb the disease.
The President of the Foundation, Naana Pele also thanked the President on behalf of all traders at Makola for the recent fumigation exercise at their market places.
She pleaded that when they resume after the lockdown period, Government should ensure that those who sell at unapproved portions on the streets should be made to do the right thing to enable them observe the social distancing directives by the President and also avoid overcrowding which can create a lot of health complications.
She thanked Government on behalf of market women for the constant support given them.
Naana Pele assured Government of their support to combat the disease to its barest minimum.
