ACCRA EAST ASSEMBLIES OF GOD EXECUTIVES PAY COURTESY CALL ON MoGCSP MINISTER

The Executive Committee of the Accra East Assemblies of God has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, to congratulate her on her appointment and pledge their support for her tenure.
Led by Rev. Andrews N. Awintia, the delegation commended the Minister on her achievement, expressing pride in seeing a fellow church member appointed to high office in service to God and the nation.
They expressed their confidence in her ability to drive policies that promote gender equality, social protection, and national development.
The Church leaders further highlighted the church’s social intervention Programme ‘AG Care’ – which equips the poor and vulnerable with skills and capital to become self-reliant.
They expressed a willingness to collaborate with the Ministry to extend support to underprivileged groups across the country.
Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey expressed her appreciation for the visit and the church’s unwavering support. She acknowledged the impact of their prayers and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of partnerships in achieving national development goals.
She reaffirmed her commitment to promoting youth development and social protection initiatives, recognizing the Assemblies of God’s role in shaping responsible and visionary leaders.
Reflecting on her journey, the Minister shared fond memories of her active involvement in the church since childhood, including serving as a Sunday School teacher, youth ministry president, and women’s leader.
She concluded by thanking the delegation for their support and prayers, assuring them of her dedication to serving the country with integrity and excellence.
