INFORMATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT EMBARKS ON SWECS CAMPAIGN

October 14, 2025 1:44 pm
The Information Services Department (ISD) has rolled out a public education and sensitization campaign under the Single Window Citizens Engagement Services (SWCES) in the Southern Sector of the country. ( Ashanti, Western, Western North, Eastern, Central, Volta, Oti, and Greater Accra Regions)
The campaign seeks to educate citizens on the operations of the SWCES, a platform designed to provide timely, accurate, and accessible information on government social protection programmes, while also serving as a feedback mechanism for improved service delivery.
Through this initiative, ISD field officers, in collaboration with Regional Information Officers (RIOs), will engage communities directly to raise awareness, explain the objectives of the SWCES, and encourage citizens to use the platform for complaints, inquiries, and access to essential information.
The objective of the campaign is to strengthen citizens’ participation in governance, promote accountability, and ensure that vulnerable households are adequately informed about the services available to them. By bridging the information gap between government and citizens, the campaign is expected to enhance trust, transparency, and inclusiveness in the delivery of social protection interventions.
The SWCES campaign will cover selected districts in the Southern Sector and will later be extended to other parts of the country.
