GHANA AND BRAZIL MINISTERS UNITE TO ADVANCE GENDER EQUALITY

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, held a bilateral meeting with her colleague, the Minister for Women of Brazil, Hon. Marcia Lopes, at the ongoing UN General Assembly, 2025.

The Hon. Minister congratulated her colleague and the Government of Brazil for successfully hosting the 2nd Global School Meals Summit, which concluded two days ago.

The two ministers expressed admiration for each other’s countries and pledged to collaborate on gender issues and exchange good practices to advance gender equality, equity, and social protection in their respective countries.
